If a joke or a prank humiliates someone, it is not a joke or a prank anymore.

Is it just me or y’all think pranks are just stupid? Yeah, they are stupid and meaningless. They are not even funny. Sometimes they are disrespectful. A married woman shared on Reddit that her husband is a prankster and loves pulling pranks on her especially on her birthdays which makes her sad because his family laughs at her and records her reaction. She thinks his pranks are humiliating but he thinks they are funny and expects her to be happy that he tries to make her birthdays funny. OP’s husband thinks that she overreacts to his pranks.

It was OP’s 26th birthday and he planned it in a restaurant. OP clearly told him that if he is planning a prank this time, she wouldn’t be attending the birthday party as it would be in a public place. OP’s husband swore on his mom, on the bible, promised her and wrote an agreement that he is not pulling any prank this time. He even brought two witnesses to make OP believe him. OP said “yes” to the party but on the day of her birthday, she got a text from one of her husband’s friend’s wife telling her that her husband has planned a prank.
